16-10-2014 - 15:40 On 30 October, the start of construction tower Scout celebrated in Utrecht. The building will have a special position within the new developments in Kanaleneiland. Through his role as "gatekeeper" by May it be the architects & planners designed tower above the surrounding buildings. The building on the corner of Churchill Avenue and 5 Meiplein is fifty feet high. In the tower is a mixed residential program, with 71 free apartments in the upper part and fifteen parker homes for autistic parker youngsters plus nine commuter homes in the plinth. The facade on the 5 Meiplein get a closed character because of the noise. The coating consists of concrete elements which 13,000 ceramic tiles are included. Be provided by the artist Milou van Ham designed ceramic tiles verses written by Tsead Bruinja. Other than is usual in Kanaleneiland the facade will be drawn by the galleries and balconies. The completion of the Explorer parker is planned for the first quarter of 2016.
