Hallo All I've just recently joined the forum, but have been trolling the threads for a while. What an inspiration you guys are. All hands on. I spoke to Boksie via Pm yesterday and he convinced me to try and do most of the things myself. You know how it goes, sometime you just want to rush it. I decided the journey is halve the fun. About me : Done a couple of conversions/ builds but don't have a pictures 1. Converted a 1400 Nissan: Cam, 2 sidedraught webers ( DC40 I think) 2. Converted an old Toyota Landcruiser from Petrol to diesel (236 ADE turbo, Was in A Massey Ferguson) 3. Build up a Nissan 1400 from scratch, I have a pic of that Next will be to add Fuel Injection

Finally another boksie on the forum, was begining to think I'll be alone for all eternity. Anyway, you see your front bumper, it has short corners? That's the older style bumper, I also have the front bumper jeffrey campbell with the short corners(got one after a long search), but like you I'm also still stuck with the rear bumper with the long corners. If ever you see the older style rear bumper, let me have it, the next one is yours... Also all the drawings for all the parts I make is in this thread, viewtopic.php?f=13&t=4819 , just go through it and download them. you send them to the laser cutters jeffrey campbell and they'll cut all the pieces jeffrey campbell for the engine mountings and so on. All you need to do then is weld the engine mountings together and they fit right in, very easy. The water passage plate you have to drill and tap 3 holes for 6mm bolts to finish that off when it comes back from the cutters, I normally also have it plated to prevent it from rusting. The distributor hole plug I'll have to supply for you, unless you have someone who can make one for you on a lathe, haven't put the dimensions up yet, but will go measure it out and put it up sometime soonish. Also the gearbox mounting I'll draw up and put up there for whoever wants to make one. _________________ 1200 Datsun in the process of being rebuilt with a 4AGE 20V

Erm, news bud, that's not a GX,, it's just a 1200 Deluxe. It's no less a good car, but after the conversion it wouldn't matter if it was a mini GTR anyway. Soda blasting jeffrey campbell is good, much better than sand blasting. Let me know if you chicken out and need me to do the parts for you...
