The win in Hungary in 2006 was lucky, and Honda s decision to withdraw from the sport last November appeared to have left Button without a drive. Knowing the work and the money that had been poured into the car for 2009, his frustration was immense, and taking a hefty pay cut to help Brawn s buy-out wasn t a difficult decision.
